Frankie Sanchez was born on June 26,1972 in Denver, Colorado. He spent his Elementary, Jr high and high school years in Aurora, Colorado. He was a world class amateur/ professional boxer and Mixed Martial Arts fighter. He was a 5 year NCAA Division II wrestler at Adams State College. He placed 3rd at the Colorado Collegiate Wrestling Championships in 1998. As a youth he was a 4x Junior Olympic boxing state and regional champion and 6 x Colorado Golden Gloves Boxing Champion.
In 2000 he was a USA National Pankration Champion for Grapplers Edge Academy.

Frankie retired with a record of 34-0 in tough man and MMA fighting. As a professional boxer he was W 16-L 15-D 1 with 8 KO’s. As a professional boxer he fought 32 pro fights. He fought for three professional championships. The Colorado State Jr. Middleweight Championship @ 154 LBS 8 Rounds. North American Boxing Association( NABA) Championship @ 147 LBS 12 Rounds and the (WBC) World Boxing Council FECARBOX Championship @154 LBS 12 Rounds. During his professional boxing career, Frankie was the chief sparing partner for boxingWorld Champion and legend Roberto “Hands of Stone” Duran in July of 2000 and 4X World Champion Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz. As a professional fighter, Frankie fought world ranked fighters Kelly Pavlik, Panchito Bojado, David Diaz, Demetri Salita, Chris Smith, Steve Martinez and Armando Valarez.

On 8/10/2002 Frankie trained Santiagio Saminagio to a professional world middleweight boxing championship for the 154 LB WBA World Boxing Association title.
In 2002/2004, Frankie was invited by the Peoples Republic of China to coach and prepare the University of Beijing Olympic Boxing Team for the 2008 Olympic Games.
Frankie Sanchez has been professionally licensed by the Colorado Boxing Commission as a Pro Trainer/Pro boxer/manager and promoter.
He has also been licensed in California, Texas, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Mississippi and Canada. Frankie has trained numerous champions who have competed in MMA, Golden Gloves, Kick Boxing, Wrestling, Olympic trials and Pro boxing. Frankie Sanchez has coached fighters who competed in the UFC, WEC, Bellator and local fight promotions. He has also hosted wrestling camps with 2008 Olympic Freestyle wrestling champion Henry Cejudo.

In July 2011 Frankie teamed up with former Olympic boxing champion and professional world champion Oscar De La Hoya/Golden Boy Promotions and hosted a professional boxing show that was filmed live worldwide on Telefutura television in Thornton, Colorado. On April 23, 2013 Frankie Sanchez promoted an MMA event in Denver,Colorado that was sponsored by Dave and Gail Liniger, who are the owners of the largest real estate company in the world RE/MAX. In the 185 pound championship main event of the night, Frankie coached his professional MMA fighter to a championship victory over 4x NCAA All American wrestler Mike Barreras. This event was was a great fundraiser and all procedes from his event were donated to the Police Protective Assoiation Relief Fund. In April 2013, Frankie Sanchez and world boxing champion Juan “Baby Bull”Diaz joined forces and are now teaming up to manage and help fighters succeed in the industry. The company is Baby Bull INC. Frankie has studied under the guidance of martial arts hall of fame coach Sheldon Marr, NCAA wrestling coach Roger Jehlicka, Jujitsu Black Belt Shane Pitts, World Masters Games Judo champion Augustine Jazzo and top MMA and boxing trainer Tony Palafox. On July 3,2016 Frankie was selected as a guest coach for the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 TV show on Fox Sports 1 Team CEJUDO vs Team Benivedas. The UFC is the largest and best mixed martial arts promotion in the world. On January 28,2017 Frankie was an official licensed UFC coach/corner man for the UFC on FOX Spots live TV show at The Pepsi Center in Denver,Colorado. Frankie helped coach UFC fighter Alexandre Pantojo to a win over UFC fighter Eric Shelton. Over the past 44 years of his life, Frankie Sanchez has coached hundreds and hundreds of athletes in many different sports. Below is a list of some of the athletes, celebrities and people he has had the pleasure to train, coach with, condition and learn from. Frankie currently lives in Aurora,Colorado with his family. His wife Darleen (Gonzalez) Sanchez,Hunter Geist-Sanchez (16), Frankie Coco Sanchez Jr. (13) and Arianna Sanchez (9). He owns a successful food truck/food cart company North of the Border Grill. He also works as a bodyguard and private security officer. In 2017 at the Denver Comicon he was the lead security detail for Hollywood movie stars Stan Lee,Ralph Machio and John Bowerman.
